Blogs, Picasas and Hellos...Oh My!

Ok, so since I'm still in my preliminary phase of getting the hang of this whole blog thing, I thought I'd go ahead and grab Google's Picasa2 and Hello software, thinking it would make it easier to post pics on my blog...well, so now I get to figure out how THOSE work. In a perfect world, I'm sure they all compliment each other...but in Flodville, it's actually easier just to upload the photo from my post...OY !

So I thought I'd test it out with this Martin Denny album cover. I'm in the middle of writing Mondo Flod #3, and currently working on my article about Martin Denny and the other kings of lounge music so I thought this would be appropriate. I guess i should tell everyone how my day went (as if you all care), Actually not too bad...slow day at work, by the way I work at a gift shop called Paradise Gifts, it's basically a souvenir shop (I AM on the coast y'know) and we all get along with the exception of someone you will no doubt be hearing alot about in blogs to come. Her name is DeWanda (I refer to her as DeWanderer), she's 62 years young (according to her), a fanatical Christian (and a wonderfully hypocritical one at that) and basically she is the Anti-Flod. Her thoughts beliefs mannerisms, sense of humor...EVERYTHING is totally opposite of me. Alongside her, we have the manager Adam, who I admire just because he gets away with so much stuff and I can amaze him with my useless knowledge of pop culture. Oh, just to let you know, Adam is gay which makes the whole DeWanderer factor even more entertaining....Fun in Paradise...more later.
